		<description><![CDATA[Secession is not an event.  It is an ongoing process.  Andrew Jackson was far more profound in a real world sense than was John Marshall.   If you are not prepared to maintain your secession, it is not worth crap.

Native Americans are not known for their superb organisational skills, so it is unlikely that most tribes wish to sever the ties that offer security in exchange for submission.  Going back to the old days of tribal raids and tribal warfare is not that attractive to actual native Americans -- as opposed to their head-in-the-clouds champions.

Puerto Ricans consider many of the same things when they choose to remain a US possession.]]></description>
